Six-Degrees Of Jogo

Welcome to Jogo Online.  Let's see if we can pinpoint how you got here.

Six-Degrees of Jogo:

The Talker. You have a friend or family member that joined Jogo and will not stop talking about it to a point of a annoyance.  One day, while they were telling you about this workout where they had to jump on boxes, swing kettlebells, run around the block as fast as they could while narrowly dodging pedestrians and the sweet pain of it all, you saw this twinkle in their eye, and you thought to yourself... "I want some of that."

The Transformation. You recently ran into a casual aquaintance that you've not seen in some time and... you're not one to talk, but the last time you saw them, well... you won't go there...  but now they're like the fit version of their old self, this much much firmer, fitter, version of their old self.  And when you question them about it they tell you about this place they go to where they lift heavy things and light things and in between things and they too have this twinkle in their eye, and you know right then and there...  "I've gotta get me some of that."

The Miracle. Somehow Jogo just fell in your lap as if by an act of God.  So and so, told so and so, who told you about this place called HoJo or GoJo or YoJo or Jogo or something where people are able to leap small buildings in a single bound.  OR.  You saw us on Facebook.  OR.  You did a google search and up popped Jogo and you thought to yourself.  "What in the world is a Jogo?"  OR.  You saw the movie '300' and decided you wanted to look like a Spartan and found out they used Crossfit and then went to Crossfit.com and saw that there is a Crossfit gym in Bellingham called Jogo.  OR.  You've seen Jogo'ers around town in their Jogo gear.  OR.  You happened to walk by our window while a crazed group of people were working out with ferocity that you've never seen.  OR.  A friend talked you into doing the Jogo Team Building event that came to your work, school, church, etc.

However it is that you've found us, welcome.  Take a look around and let us know if you have any questions.

Team Building

Attention: open in a new window. E-mail

We have a character classification at Jogo called a "talk-walker."  It's exactly what it sounds like, someone who walks the talk, who puts action to their words, hopes, beliefs, dreams, soul-train dancer aspirations, etc.  Our team building program is an extension of that for us.  It's about taking the philosophy we use every day at Jogo out to the community to inspire, educate, lead, coach, serve and play.

If you have a group (business, school, organization, etc.) that could use a little Jogo-style team bonding (read: sweat & smiles), give us a shout and we'll get you on the schedule.  This is an "on the house" service, although, if you want to pay us under the table with hot espresso beverages lightly topped with foam...  hey... we're probably not going to argue with you.

xo & Aggressive High-Fives,

Jogo

I love Jogo and feel like I have been sucessful with my goals of getting stronger and looking and feeling better.  I was a little intimidated when I started 'cause most things were so damn hard. Burpees continue to be tough for me, but I do them.  I have gotten...

The PEOPLE at Jogo are amazing. Everyone always talks about how wonderful the Crossfit "community" is, and Jogo is a prime example of that. Moving away from home to go to college was a scary experience, but the friends I made at Jogo made the transition SO much easier. Whether...

JoGo, it's a love / hate relationship for me.  Someone once said to me, "You should try this gym I go to". So I thought, sure, I'll run there, work out, and then run home. Hah, I could hardly even walk home. Crossfit kicked my butt! But...I was instantly hooked....

I came to JoGo because I wanted to be like Greg Amundson after watching a video of him doing the 'Heavy Fran' workout.  I come back to JoGo day after day because it is both more challenging and more fun than I could have ever thought possible.JoGo is an amazing...

I wanted to share how seriously grateful I am to have JOGO, and the JOGO team.  After graduating from OU, I felt like I needed to turn into a strictly aerobic exerciser -- every workout was spent on the treadmill and elliptical.  My time at the gym was so stale...

In some ways, Jogo is kinda like "Cheers", but without the beer, pretzels or Kirstie Alley.* People know your name, and care about how you're doing—really. If you don't show up for a few days, your peers will notice. If you're struggling with a workout, they'll cheer you on. And...

I love Jogo.  I love the workouts (yes, all of them). I love that there are times I think "I don't know if I can do that..." and I find out that I CAN.  Jogo and Crossfit have helped make me a more confident, strong, and beautiful woman both outside...
