Getting Started with Jogo

SIGN-UP FOR BASECAMP
Due to the intense nature of our Crossfit sessions, we require ALL necomers to pass our BaseCamp program before they may enter our group training sessions.

During BaseCamp we will assess your current fitness level and teach you the basics of our training so that you may enter our group sessions safely. This is a "hands-on" program, so expect to sweat (some more then others --wink--).

BASECAMP GROUP - $60+tax
(space is limited to 6 participants per session)
The BaseCamp Group sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 5:30pm. All three sessions are required to pass BaseCamp. If you discover after your first session that this is not for you, we will refund your money, no questions asked.

BASECAMP GROUP OFFERINGS FOR JANUARY:
I - Week of January 5 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm
II - Week of January 12 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm
III - Week of January 19 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm
IV - Week of January 26 - MWF - 5:30- 6:30pm

BASECAMP GROUP OFFERINGS FOR FEBRUARY:
I - Week of February 2 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm
II - Week of February 9 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm
III - Week of February 16 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm
IV - Week of February 23 - MWF - 5:30-6:30pm

BASECAMP SOLO - $150+tax
If you cannot make the group sessions, you may contact us to schedule three BaseCamp Solo sessions. If you have a group of 3-6 people that would like to go through BaseCamp together you may contact us to schedule the sessions at a discounted rate.

PASS BASECAMP
BaseCamp is a pass/no-pass program. When you sign-up for BaseCamp we will send you information on our expectations. Included within will be everything you need to know about passing BaseCamp, things like: safe form, timeliness, effort, and attitude. If you ask any of our members what makes Jogo special, they will tell you it's the community. Sure we offer unbelievably fun and effective workouts, but it's the unbelievably fun and supportive atmosphere that make Jogo what it is. That's why we include things like effort and attitude into our requirements for passing BaseCamp.

If you don't pass BaseCamp your first go around, don't give up. Your coach will sit down with you and let you know exactly why you didn't pass, and what you can do to improve on those things. It might simply be that you don't have the range of motion to perform some of our movements safely. Unless your coach tells you otherwise, you may repeat BaseCamp as many times as necessary in order to pass. There is no failing here. We want everyone to be successful in their pursuit toward healthy living.

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY
Once you've successfully navigated your way through BaseCamp, you're ready to sign-up for our group training sessions. We utilize the Crossfit methodology because it's the most effective tool for fitness and performance excellence that we've found. And though there will still be learning to do, you will be well on your way to elite fitness with a diverse group of Jogo'ers there to both support and (lovingly) harass you along the way.
