Our Eeyore Policy
![]() |
"Good morning, Pooh Bear," said Eeyore gloomily. "If it is a good morning," he said. "Which I doubt," said he. "Why, what's the matter?" "Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing. We can't all, and some of us don't. That's all there is to it." "Can't all what?" said Pooh, rubbing his nose. "Gaiety. Song-and-dance. Here we go round the mulberry bush." |
An Eeyore is a person with a negative attitude about their life and everything around them. There's nothing I know of that brings a team or atmosphere down quicker than this. Of course, that's not to say that any of us are without occasional fits of grumpiness, bad days, and complaints - but the expectation within our community is that those moments are the exception and not the rule. Jogo is a place with people who add to the quality of each others experience, who cheer on each others efforts, and who make the day a little bit lighter for one another. Therefore, check your gray cloud at the door. Because as Martha Graham so wisely states, "Misery is a communicable disease." |
